To mark the end of the year, Land & Monkeys presents its Frissons Gourmands collection, a completely plant-based range inspired by winter scents and textures.

The aim remains the same: to offer festive pastries that are accessible, inventive and in keeping with the brand’s values. The entire collection will be available in the shops in Paris, Aix-en-Provence and Bordeaux.

Pastry chef Valentin Garnot has created four Yule logs, including the limited-edition “Mont-Key”.

This creation combines a hazelnut crisp, chestnut cream, a moist sponge, a vanilla whipped ganache and a blackcurrant centre, all coated in plant-based white chocolate. It is available in a six-person portion for €55.

The Hazélia Yule log combines hazelnut mousse, homemade praline and vanilla whipped ganache, in a gluten-free version.

The Chocolat Yule log combines a moist cocoa sponge with a puffed rice crisp. The Azahar combines different pistachio textures with a whipped ganache flavoured with orange blossom. Sizes for four, six and eight people will be available from 11 December at prices of €27, €38 and €49, with the eight-person size available to order only. Individual Yule logs are available from 2 December, priced at €6.50.

The collection also includes seasonal products. Panettone, in candied fruit or chocolate versions, the six-serving citrus gingerbread cake, the Monkey Roll and the gingerbread monkey – with €1 donated to the Jane Goodall Institute for every monkey sold – as well as Monin winter syrups will also be available. From 26 December, the range will be expanded to include the galette and the Bordeaux brioche.

The galette is available as a single portion for €4.50, or in sizes for four, six and eight people at €22, €32 and €42 respectively, with two figurines included in the eight-person size. The pecan galette is available in a six-person size for €38. The Bordeaux brioche is available as a single portion for €4 and in a six-person portion for €17. Pre-orders can be placed online or by telephone with the shops, with collection in-store.
