What is a plant-based bakery?

It’s a bakery that offers all the classics of bakery and pastry — breads, croissants, pastries, sandwiches — without any ingredients of animal origin: no butter, cream, eggs, or milk!

Where does the name “Land&Monkeys” come from?

Land&Monkeys is an English-inspired variation of the founder Rodolphe Landemaine’s name. It represents the connection between the earth (“Land”) and living beings (“Monkeys”).

Are your products vegan?

Yes. All our products are vegan, meaning they are made exclusively from plant-based ingredients.

Are your products organic?

We use local organic flours. Our bread range is therefore certified organic. For the rest of our products, we use organic or conventional ingredients depending on availability and price.

Are your products locally sourced?

We use local flours grown within 200 km and mostly French or EU-sourced fruits and vegetables. For other ingredients, we prioritize local supply chains, except for products like coffee, chocolate, or vanilla, which are imported.

Are your products homemade?

Our breads and savory items are prepared on-site in our shops. Our pastries and viennoiseries are made in our central kitchen near Paris n by our artisans. This allows us to control quality at every stage of production.

Do you offer gluten-free products?

We offer some wheat-free products. However, they are made in facilities that also handle wheat and may contain traces of gluten. Therefore, they are not recommended for people with celiac disease.

What plant-based alternatives do you use?

We use palm-oil-free margarine made from rapeseed oil, shea butter, and coconut oil as a substitute for butter, as well as soy, oat, and coconut milk instead of dairy milk. For eggs, we use alternatives from the Yumgo range.

I have a food intolerance. Can I eat your products?

The allergen list is available in-store and on our website under the “Products” section.

Are your products halal or kosher?

Our products are not certified halal or kosher. However, they may be more suitable than those from conventional bakeries, as there is no risk of cross-contamination with pork.

Can I reserve a table?

Most of our locations have a seating area. However, table reservations are not available. Don’t worry, seats free up quickly!

Can I order for delivery?

Yes. Our products are available for delivery on Uber Eats. In-store pickup is also available depending on the location.

Can I order products in advance?

Yes, by calling the bakery of your choice directly to reserve and arrange a pickup time.

Can I order a custom birthday cake?

We do not make custom cakes. However, you can reserve a cake from our range for your events.

Can I freeze your products at home?

Most of our breads and viennoiseries can be frozen. Products that have already been frozen (indicated in-store with a snowflake symbol) cannot be frozen again at home.

Can I bring my dog?

Yes, our shops are pet-friendly. Animals are welcome!

What are your opening hours?

Opening hours vary depending on the shop. Please check the page of your nearest bakery for more details.
